I am norman/saxon- from around the 11th century.-when William Duke of Normandy started his expanding of lands -a saxon baron tried but could not stand in his way--he was killed leaving behind a lovely lady who William thought would add to his court--I was born 9 months later in a southern keep  with the rumor that a certain duke was my father - my mother was very ill after the birth and died shortly after., but not before she told her hand maiden to call me Robert. Since the hand maiden help raise me, she decided to give me a last name after the tall towers I had such a love for playing in--Thus Robert Hightower came forth.
