Meistres Bronwen o Gydweli is a 14th century Welshwoman, poet, and bard from the town of Cydweli, with a large and varied family tree, numerous siblings, and a checkered romantic history (thanks to her various protégé offspring who have each selected a different father). She seems to have had a decided taste for Irishmen...with maybe a Frenchman and a Spaniard thrown in...but was most recently involved with a German brewer. She keeps extensive journals, recording everything of note, consequence, or hilarity, and has a love of drama, of music, of heraldry and of heraldic display. Her former protégés include Dame Yseult de Montagu, Mistress Molli Rose Kekilpenny, and Dame Aislinn Chaomhanach. Her remaining protégés are THLady Morfydd ferch Bronwen and Lord Thorfinnr Eiriksson. Lady Tabitha of Erin is a fosterling, who actually is a protégé of Master El of the Two Knives.
