Mistress Alys resides in the Shire of An Dun Theine. It was her great honor to begin her SCA career as a Squire to Sir Robert Hightower and then as Protoge to Mistress Constance Aveline Merrifield. From them, and the many wonderful role-models she encountered along the way, she learned her way through the current middle ages.

She counts among past duties Shire Chronicler, Shire Knight's Marshall, Shire A&S Officer, Kingdon Seneschal Reporting Deputy and Kingdom Chronicler.

Her saddest SCA day was when, after injuring the tendons in her leg, she gave her squire's belt back.

Her happiest day was... well... pretty much all the others (excepting the day we cooked feast in the unairconditioned, Camp Arnold kitchen in the 112 degree heat).
